We try to keep the composition of our chewing gums as pure as possible and we try to use only natural ingredients. The chewing gum composition is as follows:

maltitol, sorbitol, sucralose, Xylitol, gum base (contains antioxidant: tocopherol-rich extract), gum arabic, natural mint flavor, glycerol, carnauba wax

Sorbitol is an extract of glucose sugar. It is a natural ingredient in every fruit. Sorbitol is used as a sweetener, but also as a thickener, which is suitable for diabetics.

Maltitol is a natural sweetener that is obtained from starch and is as sweet as classic sugar but does not cause tooth decay. It serves also as a stabilizer and humectant.

Xylitol is a naturally occurring sugar substitute found in most plant material, including many fruits and vegetables. Xylitol is widely used as a sugar substitute and in “sugar-free” chewing gums, mints, and other candies.

Sucralose is a non-caloric sweetener that is not harmful to the teeth and is not metabolized in the body. It is suitable for diabetics as it does not affect the level of insulin in the blood.

Gum arabic is one of the oldest natural emulsifiers. It is used as a thickener, stabilizer, humectant and emulsifier. It has been shown to lower cholesterol and have a beneficial effect on intestinal microflora.

The natural mint aroma of Artic chewing gums is achieved with the essential oils of the peppermint plant. We do not use any artificial aromas or dyes.

Glycerol is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid. It is formed during the fermentation of various natural substances and in the nature, it is most often found bound to other substances.

Carnauba wax is a wax obtained from the leaves of the tropical palm Copernicia cerifera growing in Brazil. It is a light yellow hard shimmering substance with a pleasant smell.

Tocopherol is just a technical name for natural vitamin E. Vitamin E is considered an effective antioxidant. It affects the production of red blood cells, participates in the renewal and growth of muscle mass and other tissues.

Currently, we offer peppermint flavored chewing gums and spearmint flavored chewing gums as our standard inventory. Other flavors are available upon request.

Both are extracts from Mentha plant family. The main difference is peppermint’s menthol content, which is almost 40 %, spearmint contains just 0.5 %. Spearmint, on the other hand, contains a compound called carvone, which gives it a much subtler, sweeter flavor.
